PAX Moot

The PAX Moot began as a university exercise at Sciences Po. It subsequently became the world's first moot that focused exclusively on conflict of laws, or private international law, with a particular focus on the European regulations concerning choice of law and enforcement. The competition has rapidly expanded with the participation of non-European teams in the last few years, and is supported by the Asser Institute. Due to travel restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the 2019/20 and 2020/21 editions were held online. 2021/22 saw a return to in-person rounds for the international edition.
