Nuremberg Moot

The Nuremberg Moot simulates proceedings before the International Criminal Court. The rounds take place at the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, including Courtroom 600, where the Nuremberg Trials against Nazi war criminals took place. The moot is organised by the International Nuremberg Principles Academy and Friedrich-Alexander University. This competition is unique in that the precise configuration of speaking roles depends on the composition of each team; doubling is forbidden. Due to travel restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the 2019/20 edition only awarded memorial prizes, and the 2020/21  and 2021/22 editions held online.
