International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot

This moot, popularly referred to as IMLAM, involves disputes on commercial maritime law, and is the oldest and largest in its field. The judges are usually maritime practitioners, with the advanced rounds featuring High Court and Court of Appeal judges from the host jurisdiction. Due to travel restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the 2019/20 edition only awarded memorial prizes, while the 2021/22 edition was held online after a hiatus in 2020/21. The 2021/22 edition also saw the transfer of the organisation of the competition from Murdoch University.
