Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Moot

This moot is named after Professor Ian Fletcher, an expert in cross-border insolvency law. Supported by INSOL International and the International Insolvency Institute, the competition - the first on international solvency law - is typically held in conjunction with their annual conference proceedings. The issues raised are fairly varied, and have included foreign non-main proceedings under the Model Law and the use of injunctions to stay foreclosure proceedings. Due to travel restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the 2020/21, 2021/22, and 2022/23 editions were held online.
