Essex Court Chambers-Singapore Academy of Law Moot

The ECC-SAL moot was started in 2012. Hosted by the Singapore Academy of Law in collaboration with London's Essex Court Chambers, this competition is open to young lawyers with fewer than three years' post-qualification. Over the years, teams from various countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia have participated. The advanced rounds of the competition are typically judged by King's Counsel and Supreme Court judges. The mock proceedings are before the Singapore International Commercial Court.
