LAWASIA Moot

This moot is organised by LAWASIA, a professional body comprising bar associations, lawyers, judges, and academics. Although the earlier moot problems were based on public international law, subsequent ones have been based on international commercial arbitration and private international law. Four editions have been disrupted since the debut in 2005: 2006 due to organisational restructuring, 2019 due to the riots in the host country, and 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19 (rounds were held online instead). Memorial prizes were dispensed with in 2020 and 2021. The 2022 edition saw a return to in-person format.
