Asia Cup Moot
The Asia Cup is the oldest regional moot in Asia. An initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the competition has attracted a broad range of participants throughout Asia. The competition programme is particularly noted for its immersive cross-cultural elements. It simulates proceedings before the International Court of Justice, and the moot problem focuses on specific public international law issues. Due to travel restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the 2019/20 edition was cancelled, and the 2020/21 and 2021/22 editions held online.
